Good location at 30min walk to Vatican/St Peters Square. We do like a walk so managed whole 4 days without taking taxi. Good looking property and nice little incentive of free beer token if you tell them not to make up the room on any given day.

We were next to lift so not sure if came from there but some loudish scrapping/banging noises at night. Air conditioning not the greatest but just about OK. Restaurant and bar was pretty expensive

Staff were friendly and the breakfast was very impressive!

Bed mattress was too soft. Bar service was very slow. Pool was not in use as they only open it up in summer months although it was 28 & 29 degrees celsius and late spring. The airconditioning did not work.

Relaxing and leisurely poolside experience with all of the highlights of Rome nearby.

Beautiful mid-century hotel with a cool 1970's /late mid-Century vibe. The staff were very courteous and really helpful and were kind about speaking in English to us as we had little experience speaking in Italian. They also helped with planning activities and booking taxi transfers. The facilities were good and the pool though unshaded was fabulous. There was some lovely seating in the foyer, club-style tables and seating in the bar area, and a lovely patio beyond the restaurant. It was quiet during the day and didn't seem hectic so felt relaxing and very much what you want on a holiday. The drinks were good and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurant was lovely and spacious as were the rooms. The rooms were well set up though weirdly if you want to iron clothes you need to go to a common room to do so. The hotel is set on a hill side so the light was magnificent and the area was quiet and somewhat cut off though if you walked 20-30 south and to the east, you were in Trastevere and a short cab ride to everything.

We stayed on two different occasions during our trip. Both times there were issues with the room. The first room's window was broken on the hinge and would not open properly and the shower leaked so that the floor was flooding and we had to use a lot of towels to clean it up. There was a hole in the ceiling from water damage and a lot of dampness and mold around the shower wall seals. When I told the staff they said they said that they would look into it. I expect that with us staying for short stays it wasn't a priority. The second time we stayed there was a large event in the dining room. This room was lovely but it was at the back of the hotel overlooking the trash and recycling bins and the view was grubby. Worse it was above a function room where there was a large event taking place and it was not soundproofed. We were getting up at 3:30 am for an early flight and we slept for the last hour as the noise coming from the event's music and dancing was incessant. People had a great time though! On the last night, we wanted to eat off the restaurant menu but they only served bar food because they had an event in the restaurant and function room. I thought it would have been easy to accommodate some dishes off the menu but there was no flexibility. The bar food was not what you expect in Italy and I wished the hotel had explained the event restrictions and we would have gone down the hill for dinner. Not a major issue but communicating that would have helped.

Staff were helpful, and generally spoke good English. Room was lovely and the bed was comfy and big. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

Corridors had stained carpet and there were few staff on desk.this meant no calls to front desk were answered and took 30 mins to order a taxi. I had to walk to front desk and there were 3 people checking in.

Great hotel outside of Rome

Great location just outside Rome proper and somewhat adjacent to Trastevere. I had originally planned to walk to Trastevere but quickly realized it was further than I thought. While it was not super steep, there were elevation changes that severely impacted my stamina. I quickly resorted to Lime Scooter and easily travelled into Rome and Trastevere and back with relative ease. Uber and taxi would have cost 10X as much.

Honestly, I have no complaints.

Very Good

Pretty clean, dog friendly, quiet enough. Enjoyed the snacks, welcome note and postcard. Parking was very easy with a big enough lot right on the side of the hotel.

Location was pretty far for walking, staff were friendly but not as energetic as some of the other hotels I have been to in the past, but they were accommodating. Room was fairly small, so it is hard to feel like it is good value for the price, but was one of the only affordable hotels in Rome at the time.
